Founder of Gravitee
Adam was born & raised in Ashford, going to East Stour, Willesborough & Norton Knatchbull Schools. Went to Uni in Aston (Birmingham), has spent the last 10 years working in marketing and now runs Gravitee, an Employee Engagement Agency in Ashford.
Freelance Graphic Designer
Lorna grew up in Lympne (by the zoo but not in it!) and after completing A-levels in gluing, sticking and business she headed to Brookes to study publishing. There she fell in love with design and has gradually forged a freelance career in the industry.
Innovation & Change
I am an artist and business consultant that brings creative solutions to corporate innovation and change. I specialise in user-centred design, am a versatile facilitator and bring curiosity, empathy, critical thinking and creativity to change management projects.
Executive Asst & Project Mngr
I live in Ashford but commute for work in London. I am an Executive Assistant and Project Manager with 15 years cross sector experience including startups in delivery and support roles. I’m a caffeine addict, Boris-Biker, Marathoner and now a mum.
Founder of AM Marketing
Amy is the Founder and MD of AM Marketing, a husband and wife led marketing agency based in Kent, specialising in digital marketing. Amy was voted No.8 of the top 30 under 30 in Kent, was the Kent PR agency of the year 2015 and is also a google partner.
Digital Director & PPC specialist
The other half of the husband and wife team that run AM Marketing, Brad is the Digital Director, who brings experience managing the digital marketing accounts for Disney, Citroen, Very and Eurotunnel. Brad loves coffee, pizza and is an avid gamer.
Founder of Community Gyms
After many years in teaching Luke Bicknell decided to follow his passion for health and fitness by launching his own community based gym in Canterbury. Starting small he has grown his business over the past couple of years and has big plans for the future.
Digital Marketing Specialist
Dan is the founder of KPS Digital Marketing. He is extremely passionate about Digital Marketing and enjoys sharing his knowledge with others. He writes for a number of top websites about social media. He plays squash, makes his own beer and is a dog lover.
Economic Development Mngr
Andrew is the Economic Development Manager for Ashford Borough Council and has been integral in transforming Ashford and the surrounding area by supporting new building projects, the new college and promoting local business.
Business Systems Analyst
Emily is passionate about technology and driving technology improvements, particularly in the healthcare sector. Emily likes to fly drones in her spare time, is practicing how to play the guitar, is an avid internet trawler and thrives on learning new things.
IT Recruitment specialist
Chris owns his own specialist IT recruitment company based in Ashford. He has worked in IT for many years and is passionate about putting the right skills in the best place. He used to work at Euro Tunnel and IBM and likes discussing all things tech related.
Jonathan is a proud professional geek who works as a consultant. He is a sought-after developer who has published 5 apps for Apple’s iOS and is also an ethical hacker. He’s a FPV drone pilot, keen cyclist, 3D print designer & user and Raspberry Pi lover.
Founder of ThinkNation
Lizzie is passionate about all things technology, creative and youth orientated, which has led her to be the founder of ThinkNation. She is also a TEDx speaker, Kent digital envoy, gender equality panelist and a former speech writer for the government.
Snr Manager, Cisco
Rohan has a wealth of experience in understanding the impact of technology and is passionate about applying technology so it impacts our lives in a positive way. He believes technology is ushering in a revolution in how we all live and work in the modern world.
Freelance Content Creator
Clients include BBC, Discovery Channel, Historic Royal Palaces and Parliament. At IdeasTest in Sittingbourne I run ‘Confidence to Create’, helping turn ideas into practical steps forward. I love cycling the Kentryside with Ronni but make a point of not going in for bike-porn attire!
Volunteer Services Co-ordinator
Lee has an innate ability to make those around him feel better about themselves and strives to make volunteering special and bring communities together through his work at Ashford Volunteer Centre (AVC), where he helps people find the right volunteer opportunities.
Poet and Gardener
Robert enjoys writing and reading his uplifting poems which are about nature or local themes. He is learning to listen to the responses made by individuals on hearing a poem, which often triggers their own story or memory related to a poem. He is also a keen gardener.
Senior Business Strategist
Laura recently relocated back to Kent from London. With a successful career working as a consultant and in banking, Laura now specialises on solving real business problems through a combination of product innovation, human centred design and software engineering.
David is a self confessed technophile, student at the University of Kent, part-time IT Consultant and was recently on placement at Kent County Council as an integral member of the digital.together initiative. He is a contributor to a blog called ThatsGroovy and the Uganda project.
Kent Connects Placement
Myles is currently doing a year-long placement for digital.together, a programme by Kent County Council to showcase digital transformation and collaboration across the county. Myles is responsible for publicity, web content and all social media communications promoting the digital agenda.
